It was full of important accomplishments and remarkable occasions for IAML members to meet, talk and share professional knowledge.

New Webmaster and Assistant Web Editor

Gabriele Gamba has decided to resign from the position as IAML's Webmaster after serving more than a decade in this role. In order to further the work necessary for maintaining the vibrancy of IAML’s web site, and at the same time not overburden Web Editor, Jennifer Ward, I am pleased to announce that the IAML Board has approved temporary appointments for Richard Ranft, British Library (Webmaster) and Michelle Hahn, William and Gayle Cook Music Library, Indiana University (Assistant Web Editor), with a view to seeking approval from the General Assembly at the Congress in Leipzig to make these appointments permanent.

Jürgen Diet in Präsidium of the German Music Council

It was with great pleasure that we recently learned of Jürgen Diet’s election as the member of the Präsidium of the German Music Council (Deutscher Musikrat). As the President of the German National Branch of IAML (AIBM) Jürgen will represent music libraries in this important body.
