Terms of reference

The purpose of the Service and Training Section is essentially twofold. It provides a forum for the discussion and development of training programmes, not only for those working in music libraries but also their users, as well as for showcasing and promoting those tools and resources through which such training can be delivered.

The Service and Training Section came into being in 1975, initially as the Commission for Education and Training. Its purpose is essentially twofold.
