*** THE CALL FOR POSTERS IS NOW CLOSED ***
The IAML Congress will take place at the University of Cambridge, UK, from 30 July to 4 August 2023.
Poster proposals are invited on subjects related to music in libraries, archives and documentation centres, including (but not limited to): the impact of Covid-19, music bibliography, cataloguing and classification, music encoding, MIR, digital humanities, copyright, professional training, issues of inclusion and diversity, user and public engagement, musicological research, special collections, performance ephemera, and digital resources, as well as presentations of a more general nature addressing issues of professional concern to the music library and archive community.
Posters will convey the subject using a combination of graphics and narrative text attached to a presentation panel, and presenters may also distribute relevant handouts.
The deadline for the submission of poster proposals is Saturday 31 December 2022 (midnight UTC).
The Congress is open to anyone with an interest in the field, regardless of IAML membership status. Proposals can be submitted in any of IAML's official languages: English, French, or German. Submissions will be evaluated by the members of the IAML Forum of Sections.
After successful submission a confirmation message should appear on the screen and you should also receive a confirmation email message.
Applicants will be notified of the results of the selection process by 17 February 2023.
The preliminary programme will be published in March 2023.
Any questions about the Call for Posters should be directed to the IAML Programme Officer, Rupert Ridgewell (programme@iaml.info).
