Annual congress

A survey was created using the tool Survey Monkey to help the IAML Board gather information about the recent IAML conference, attendance at IAML conferences, and feedback about IAML in general. The survey included ten questions, of which some had multiple parts. Respondents had six weeks to complete it. A total of 295 people responded, and Survey Monkey produced a 31-page summary of results. An overview follows.

The International Association of Music Libraries, Archives, and Documentation Centres (IAML) invites proposals for presentations at its annual conference, to be held 13-18 July 2014 in Antwerp, Belgium.

Dear Colleagues,

One week has passed since we said goodbye in Vienna. I would like to thank the Conference organizers once more for the extraordinary time they had prepared for us. In addition to the interesting professional programme - magnificent receptions, exquisite concerts (including the Schrammelorchester on Friday evening) and beautiful excursions. The Farewell dinner in Palais Ferstel was the Grand Finale of a memorable conference!
