<p>The publication is a doctoral dissertation by an author who investigates female singing in an interesting area in the Dalmatian tradition, which is in musical practice gender-specific as a male. A special form of female music <i>klapa</i>, the author compares with male singing and, in many other respects, questions the socio-cultural aspects of "female music".</p>
