After the IAML midterm Board meeting in Vienna 19-20 January, I took the train to Budapest. I am grateful for this wonderful opportunity to meet so many friendly members of the Hungarian IAML Branch – a branch that clearly is full of vitality.

Yet another IAML-year has passed and it is a pleasure for me to share with you a summary of what has happened during this eventful year.
Looking back at 2023 I find that one of my most pleasant memories is my visit to the Arvo Pärt Centre in the middle of June.
This year, the Music Department celebrates the 100th anniversay of its continuous activity. Since 1923, it has been involved in acquiring, cataloguing and making available music prints, manuscripts, and other music-related documents.
