Great news has just come from the UK & Irl Branch of IAML. Two colleagues – Peter Baxter and Antony Gordon (Ag) have been elected Honorary Members of IAML (UK & Irl) in recognition of their “distinctive contribution to music librarianship and notable service to the Branch.”

We are pleased to invite you to attend the international seminar "Popular music – research and resources in the Nordic-Baltic region" on 26-27 April 2018 in Tallinn, organized by the Estonian Music Library Association together with the Finnish Music Library Association, the Nordic branch of the International Association for the Study of Popular Music and Tallinn University.
Zum ersten Mal wird die deutsche IAML-Ländergruppe mit einem Stand bei der Musikmesse in Frankfurt vertreten sein. Während des gesamten Messezeitraums vom 11. bis 14. April 2018 wird unser Messestand mit jeweils zwei KollegInnen besetzt sein. Insgesamt 14 KollegInnen beteiligen sich am Standdienst. Unser Messestand befindet sich im Music Associations & Education Forum in Halle 8.0, D54. Machen Sie gerne Werbung bei Personen und Firmen, die an der Musikmesse teilnehmen, beim IAML-Deutschland-Stand vorbei zu schauen. Wir möchten am Messestand über die Arbeit der Musikbibliotheken informieren und Kontakte knüpfen.
