The IAML Board stands in solidarity with all IAML members and other library associations who have expressed their concern for the protection of universal human rights. We particularly wish to convey our support for the MLA’s recent “Statement Opposing Racism and Police Brutality” and the statement by the IFLA President and Secretary General, “Racism Has No Place in the Society Libraries are Working to Build”.

The IAML Board is planning to host a series of online meetings in the week of 20 July. Proposals are being accepted for discussions and short reports lasting 5-10 minutes each.
