On 17 November I had the pleasure to attend parts of the Journée professionnelle de l'AIBM while I was in Paris. The meeting took place in Cité de la musique Philharmonie de Paris and more than fifty people attended (not all of them IAML members, though). It was a great opportunity for me to get acquainted with several members of the French IAML branch.

I had the great privilege to participate in the 21st Quinquennial Congress of the International Musicological Society (IMS), which was held in Athens 22 to 26 of August, under the auspices of the Departments of Music Studies of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens and the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. It was hosted by the Hellenic Musicological Society.

The International Association of Music Libraries, Archives and Documentation Centres (IAML) is pleased to announce the call for papers and posters for the IAML Congress to be held at the Municipal Library of Prague and the National Library of the Czech Republic, Prague (25-30 July 2021).

Take advantage of three free or low-cost conferences this month: Teaching Music Online in Higher Education Conference, Association for Recorded Sound Collections Conference, and the Virtual Music Encoding Conference.

The Call for Papers is open for the session Music in the Library World to be held during the IFLA World Library and Information Congress in Dublin, Ireland, from 15-22 August 2020. Submit by 15 March 2020.
