General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR)

The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), approved by the EU Parliament, took effect in Europe on 25 May 2018. With reference to this please note the following:

IAML collects information about its members from the national branches or directly from members who do not belong to a national branch. It is the responsibility of the national branches, or individuals who do not belong to a national branch, to make sure that the information is updated and correct. The Association does not collect data about our members other than that which is visible in the membership database. Only members have access to this database and we do not disseminate data about our members to anyone outside of our Association. We only collect and retain data that we need for administrative purposes, to conduct elections and to give access to e-Fontes. If a member would like to have his or her data removed at an earlier stage this will be taken care of without delay by the Treasurer (treasurer@iaml.info).

Contact the Secretary General if you have any questions and or concerns.
