Music brings people together, and IAML membership supports our aim to make music internationally accessible through acquisition and lending, preservation and digitization, cataloguing and bibliography, and documentation and research. Moreover, most music librarians and archivists serve as educators, opening up the vast world of information and repertoire during their daily interactions with students, faculty members, researchers, musicians, and the general public. We work internationally on multiple fronts to promote and protect musical heritage among diverse cultures, because the importance of music in the lives of the world's peoples is something we truly cherish. |
The Early Bird deadline for the Conference in Antwerp is 11 May! After this the registration fee will increase from 250 € to 310 €. The Conference website now includes the social programme, which looks very promising!
Fontes Artis Musicae is the quarterly journal of IAML (iaml.info). The journal is likely to transition from print to electronic, though a timetable is not yet established for this. IAML is now searching for a new Editor.
Fontes artis musicae est la revue trimestrielle de l’AIBM (http:/iaml.info (link is external)). Présentement imprimée, la publication sera probablement transformée en revue électronique mais aucun calendrier pour ce faire n’a encore été arrêté. L’AIBM est maintenant à la recherche d’un nouveau rédacteur en chef.
Fontes Artis Musicae ist die vierteljährlich erscheinende Mitgliederzeitschrift der IVMB (www.iaml.info), die in absehbarer Zeit elektronisch veröffentlicht werden soll. Dafür gibt es bisher noch keinen konkreten Zeitplan. Die IVMB sucht einen neuen Chefredakteur.
