Live streaming of the MLA Annual Meeting this week

The following has reached us from MLA and is posted with kind permission:

The Music Library Association is pleased to announce that, for the first time, we will be video-recording and streaming a significant part of our Annual Meeting. We will be recording the largest room of the 84th Annual Meeting on February 26, 27, and 28 (Thursday through Saturday). The content will be streamed live and recorded for later availability. For this year, the streams (live and recorded) will be available freely. [Please note: the time zone is UTC-7 hours]

We hope that this will offer those who are unable to attend an opportunity to benefit from the meeting and even to participate. Most sessions will have some ability to take questions from the remote viewing audience via a chat feature.

The meeting’s web site is at http://www.musiclibraryassoc.org/page/mla_2015.
The schedule is at http://www.musiclibraryassoc.org/page/mla_2015_sched.
The room we will be recording is Platte River.
The landing page for the live stream will be at http://www.ustream.tv/channel/mla2015.
Recorded content will be available shortly after the conference at http://vimeopro.com/musiclibraryassoc/denver-2015.

Please contact Paul Cary (pcary@bw.edu) with any questions.
