Introducing the IAML Web Editor

Dear Colleagues,

It is with great pleasure that I can inform you that Andrew Justice has accepted the position of Web Editor of IAML.

Andrew has worked since 2007 as Music Librarian for Audio and Digital Services at the University of North Texas, where he manages one of the largest academic audio collections in North America and directs digitization of print and audio special collections.

He is chair of the Texas Music Library Association (TMLA), Chair of the Audio-Visual Commission within the International Association of Music Libraries, Archives and Documentation Centres (IAML) and is also active in the Music Library Association (MLA).

Andrew plays the baroque viola and is currently the artistic director for the Denton Bach Players. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Music from Oregon State University, a Master's of Music Performance from the University of Oregon, and a Master's of Library Science from Syracuse University.

Beside these activities Andrew likes cooking, reading, movies, traveling and being outdoors.

We look forward to working with Andrew and wish him much success in this new role. Please support Andrew and send him information and items of news from your libraries and archives so that his first „web edition“ can get under way as soon as possible.

I would like to use this opportunity to say a big "thank you" to our webmaster Gabriele Gamba who has taken care of the website alone for years with great joy and energy, that went far beyond the traditional role of a webmaster. Gabriele and Andrew are from now on our IAML Web team. The team will receive support in the near future from an assistant web editor.

Kind regards

Jutta Lambrecht
Chair, Publications Committee
