Annual Study Weekend 2010 (9th-12th April)

The 2010 Annual Study Weekend is taking place in one of the most central and easily accessible parts of the country with Lenton & Wortley Halls providing high-quality accommodation in a particularly attractive setting on the campus of Nottingham University. Glancing at a recent listing of professional training, I was again surprised at the high charges for day courses. I am delighted that IAML(UK & Irl) is still able to provide such good value in the ASW at around the cost of a CILIP day course — an extended residential weekend with cutting–edge presentations & workshops ... plus an unequalled opportunity for networking ... plus trade exhibitions ... plus lots more.

One of Nottinghamshire's most famous sons wrote of the (then) new Nottingham University:

Built it most grand and cakeily
out of the noble loot
derived from shrewd cash-chemistry
by good Sir Jesse Boot.

(D.H. Lawrence — Nottingham's New University) ... and yes, there is a Boots outlet on campus too!
