Publications Officer

The post of Publications Officer will become vacant from April 2009 so if you are well-organised and would like:

• to correspond with music librarians across the world
• to be the main point of contact for IAML publications
• to join the IAML(UK & Irl) Executive Committee

this could be the enjoyable job you are looking for.

The post is varied and interesting and includes dealing with all overseas subscriptions, banking in three currencies, keeping accurate records and writing reports. The work involves some time commitment, particularly between September and April and you need to have some space for storage.

Executive meetings take place in London four times a year and are very friendly and interesting. All expenses involved in carrying out the duties of the post are reimbursed and the maximum term of office is five years.
