Chris Banks: University Librarian at Aberdeen. Over twenty years' experience at the British Library, an active member of the Scottish Confederation of University Research Libraries, and the national and international arms of the International Association of Music Libraries, Archives and Documentation Centres (IAML).  Trustee of the Britten-Pears Foundation and General Secretary of the New Berlioz Edition.

Liz Hart: public library background in music librarianship and currently Senior Librarian, Adult & Community Services for the London Borough of Enfield. Now President of IAML(UK & Irl) her long and active service has included Brio Advertising Manager, Branch Secretary and Education Officer. From 1986–1995 she also co–ordinated the Branch's Action Pack against cuts in public music library services. Honorary member of IAML(UK & Irl).

Ruth Hellen: public library background with a particular specialism in audio-visual materials. Long and active service to IAML(UK) and Branch President 1998–2001; a Vice-President of IAML 2001–2007, now on the IAML Outreach Committee. Secretary of the London Branch of the Elgar Society. Honorary member of IAML(UK & Irl).

Andrew Holden: currently Interim Director of MLA London and will be Director of Engagement for London at MLA Council from April 2010, leading MLA's work in the Capital. Before joining MLA in 2006, he started his career as an academic historian at Queen Mary, University of London and is author of a post-war history of politics and morality. He subsequently worked as a consultant for a number of NGOs in the field of democratic reform and human rights. Keen interest in music and music libraries.

Una Hunt: distinguished Irish pianist and champion of Irish composers and Irish music. Alongside her worldwide career as a performer, she has led the establishment of the Archive of Irish composers at the National Library of Ireland in order to ensure a focus for the future.

Elspeth Hyams: Editor of CILIP Update, the professionals' journal published by the Chartered Institute of Library and Information Professionals. Long and distinguished career in the library and information sector, including as Director of the Institute of Information Studies until its merger with CILIP. Is very supportive of IAML(UK & Irl) activities and has an in-depth knowledge of the current state of affairs in the UK library world.

Graham Johnson: one of the world's most distinguished and respected accompanists. He has worked in the concert hall and recording studio with many leading singers including Dame Janet Baker, Anthony Rolfe Johnson, Jessye Norman and Dame Felicity Lott. He founded the Songmakers' Almanac in 1976 to discover and perform neglected works for voice and/or piano and has since given 150 concerts as part of this enterprise.

Martie Severt: current President of IAML, has been active in both IAML (was Treasurer 2001–2007) and the Dutch national branch for many years for which he is currently Treasurer. Works in the broadcasting sector at the Netherlands Radio Music Library

John Tyrrell (Panel Chair): eminent musicologist specialising in Czech music, particularly that of Leos Janacek. After working as an editor at The Musical Times and on The New Grove Dictionary of Music and Musicians, he joined the University of Nottingham as Lecturer in Music (1976), becoming Reader in Opera Studies (1987) and Professor (1996). He was awarded a two-year British Academy Research Fellowship in 1992. From 1996 to 2000 he was Executive Editor of the second edition of The New Grove Dictionary of Music and Musicians (2001). From 2000-08 he was Research Professor at Cardiff University, where he continues as an Honorary Professor.

Susi Woodhouse (Awards Administrator): librarian with experience in the areas of information retrieval, music librarianship and the use of online services in public libraries. Active in the IAML, UK and Ireland Branch (was Branch President 2001–2004). Honorary member of IAML(UK & Irl).
