IAML Conference (Dublin, 2011)

Dear IAML Colleagues,

Our 60th Anniversary Conference in Dublin is fast approaching, so here are a few reminders.

Some postal delays meant that conference brochures took longer than anticipated to reach you. The Organising Committee have kindly extended the cheaper booking period from 30 May to 13 June. So it's not too late to register at the lower rate. If you want to see who has already registered, go to http://www.iaml.info/iaml-uk-irl/dublin_2011/delegates.html

Please note that the final closing date is still 27 June. In fairness to the Organising Committee, please don't leave your registration until the very last moment!

If you have any booking questions please contact the catherine.ferris@dit.ie. You should also contact Catherine if you think you have registered, but can't find your name on the list.

For other enquiries, please contact iaml2011dublin@me.com.

One of the new initiatives in Dublin is a special 'roundtable' meeting on Thursday morning between National Representatives and the IAML Board. This will be an opportunity to talk informally and to reflect on some of the issues raised at the Plenary Session on The Future of IAML. A preliminary document was sent to National Branch Secretaries in early May so that National Representatives would have time to consult with their colleagues. If you didn't receive your copy, please president@iaml.info and I will send it again.

I am looking forward very much to meeting many of you in Dublin. If you can't be there in person, I do hope you will join us in spirit to help celebrate sixty years of our remarkable organisation.

Best wishes

Roger Flury
President
