“Libraries as media? ” - IFLA Satellite meeting in Paris, 15 August 2014

Dear colleagues,

IFLA Management and Marketing section and the Bibliothèque publique d’information  present “Libraries as media? ”, a global discussion of how, strategically and collaboratively, libraries are producing and creating media content in the new digital age.
Time : August 15th, 9:30 AM – 4:00 PM
Location: Centre Pompidou / Bibliothèque publique d’information (Bpi), Paris   

This satellite meeting of WLIC 2014 wills the held in Paris on August 15th. It is open to all information professionals and fees are of 50€ per persons , lunch included .

The program includes papers from colleagues from Spain, France, Finland, USA, Serbia and Quebec and will discussed content creation, webmagazine, web TV, mediation, social networks and libraries in the digital age.

If you are attending the WLIC in Lyon, travel from Paris to Lyon is very easy by train and is about 2 hours. On August 15th, the satellite meeting will end at 4 pm and make it possible to catch the 5pm (or later) train at Gare de Lyon: please check SNCF website.
