IAML International Association of Music Libraries

During the past year, the Hungarian national branch (HNB) made substantial efforts to arrange the official registration of the organization. We also opened the organization's bank account and thus the membership fee was properly transferred for the first time.

The constitution of the HNB is yet to be translated; as soon as it is done it will be sent to the secretary general.

The most significant event of the last year was the official reorganization of the Hungarian National Branch. From the turning point of the Hungarian society in 1989, it was the first time that the reorganization became feasible due to the requirements posed by the Hungarian regulations.
